Piercing Aftercare

💎 Piercing Aftercare – The Casauma Way

Got a new sparkle? We love that for you!
Now let’s treat that piercing with the care it deserves 🫶

🧼 Step 1: Keep it clean (but chill)
Once a day, wash your piercing gently with a neutral soap.
Just the foam, no rubbing — your piercing is not a dish 🍽️
Rinse well and let it air dry.
If there’s any water left, a cotton swab is your bestie for those tiny spots!

❄️ Step 2: Cold compress = good vibes only
For the first 20 days, show your piercing some love with cold saline compresses.
10–15 minutes of cool care — helps with swelling and keeps things comfy 💆🏼♀️💧

🚫 Step 3: Hands OFF
Don’t twist, don’t spin, don’t touch.
We know it’s tempting, but let that baby heal in peace 🧘🏽♀️
Touching = drama. And we’re on a healing journey, not a reality show.

📆 Step 4: Come say hi!
Around 20–30 days post-piercing, come back for a check-up.
We’ll see how everything’s going and make sure your piercing is thriving 💫

🌈 Totally normal things (so you don’t freak out)
✨ Swelling
✨ Soreness
✨ Little crusts
✨ Yellow-ish fluid that looks like pus
Breathe. It’s part of the healing process, we promise 💛
But if anything feels too weird — message your piercer. We’re here for you!

My piercing fell out! What should I do?

Breathe, babe — it happens! 💛
But time is very important here.

If your piercing is fresh or still healing, the hole can close up fast — às vezes em poucas horas.

Here’s what you should do:
1. Don’t try to force it back in alone.
You might hurt the tissue or worsen the irritation.
2. Clean the area gently with saline solution or neutral soap and water.
3. Contact your piercer ASAP.
If you’re near Casauma, book a check-up with us and bring the jewelry (even if it looks a bit sad).
If the piercing hole is still open, we may be able to reinsert it or re-perforate safely.
4. Don’t panic if you need a new piercing.
We’ll take care of you — with love, skill, and sparkles ✨

Tattoo Aftercare

💫 Tattoo Aftercare – The Casauma Way

So, you’ve got fresh ink — yay! 🖤
Now it’s time to treat your skin like the precious canvas it is.

🩷 Step 1: First things first – remove the wrap
If you left the studio wrapped in plastic film, you can take it off once you’re home.
If you’re wearing second skin (that fancy breathable sticker), you can leave it on for up to 3 days — no stress.

🧼 Step 2: Clean & care, twice a day
Wash your tattoo gently with neutral, fragrance-free soap — no scrubbing, just love.
Pat it dry (no towels too rough, please) and apply a thin layer of aftercare cream like Cicaplast or Aquaphor.
If your tattoo feels dry later, you can top up with a tiny bit more. Hydration is key!

🚫 Step 3: No sun, no swims, no steamy adventures
Avoid swimming pools, saunas, hot tubs, and sunbathing for 1 to 3 weeks (specifically for fineline tattoos)
Need to work out or play sports? Check in with your tattoo artist first!

🌱 Step 4: The healing chaos (totally normal)
You might feel itchy or notice some peeling — your skin is just renewing itself.
Resist the urge to scratch or peel (seriously!).
If the itch is wild, tap gently or reapply a tiny bit of aftercare cream.

🌞 Step 5: She’s healed when she’s smooth
Once the skin feels completely soft and smooth again, congrats — you’re healed!
But don’t forget: tattoos love SPF. Sunscreen keeps your art fresh and glowing for years to come ✨

🪡 Step 6: Touch-up check!
Fineline tattoos are delicate and minimal — that’s their charm 💕
But because the lines are ultra thin, some fading or tiny gaps might happen. Totally normal!
That’s why it’s important to check in with your artist after healing — just in case your tattoo needs a little love ✨

Why is a fineline tattoo more expensive even if it’s small?

Because it’s not “just a tiny tattoo.”
Fineline tattooing requires an extreme level of precision, steady hands, and a trained eye.
Every line is delicate, and there’s little to no room for error — especially if you want the result to heal beautifully and last over time.
Even small pieces can take time, focus, and years of practice to execute correctly.

You’re not just paying for the size — you’re investing in technique, experience, and care.
At Casauma, we treat every line as art. ✨
